Poster design for plusminusten, an exhibition in Singapore curated by Anonymous based on Dieter Rams' Ten Principles for Good Design. Ten designers in Singapore were invited to design a poster for each of the ten principles.

My principle was "Good Design is Unobtrusive" and I based the poster on a door knob wall shield.

Door knob wall shield hidden from plain sight

Design is a product of observation and research. It was important that the chosen object would reveal itself through weeks of observation.

As it fulfilled its purpose, the door knob wall shield was hidden from view although it was used daily.

Through a process of observation and understanding the relationships in the usage of various normal daily household objects, the spherical object was rediscovered as it hid inconspicuously between the door and the wall.

The exhibition is being held at The Gallery, Old School located at 11 Mount Sophia, (S) 228461 from the 11th till 24th of Novem­ber.
